Catherine E. Snow is the keynote speaker for Research Reading Conference 2008. The conference has four strands, each featuring three unique sessions:

  • Reading instruction
  • Assessment
  • Adolescent issues
  • Teacher quality

Status of Reading Instruction Institute

The Institute, created by IRA, seeks to gather and synthesize rigorous, objective information to improve the teaching of reading. Details about the Institute’s new research effort – the Description of Reading Instruction Study – will be shared through the Reading Research Conference and at a featured research sessions during IRA’s annual convention.
